Wool Story
Drac D'or most innovative proposal of the Fira de Titelles de Lleida 2024
Drac D'or of the international jury of the Fira de Titelles de Lleida 2024
WOOL STORY shows us a random moment in the life of a person who moves between fantasy and reality where he discovers a world that was hidden deep within his everyday life.
In this story, objects rebel against the established, against the conventional. A fantastic tale starring a simple thread of wool that, manipulated by the wind, transports us to a world where fantasy reigns and the unexpected is about to arrive.
Clown, innovation, puppets that move through the wind, piano live and projections are the ingredients of this piece that will make their guests' imagination fly.
Wool Story emphasizes the use of wind to influence the puppet's behavior and thus manipulate it.
We like to say that the puppet takes its own decisions...
Our approach allows, within a pre-established framework, a certain randomness in the puppet's behavior, which brings a freshness to the show, making it remain constantly alive.
A poetic duet is created by a live piano accompaniment and a puppet projection, which provides a choreographic journey between reality and virtuality, which tests our perception. This show will inspire your imagination to transport you beyond unknown horizons, thus inviting you to a moment of dreamlike escape.
